FRIGID CHILL: The arctic chill returns today with a few early morning snow showers. Any accumulation of snow will be minor, while most don’t see much through daybreak. Winds have ramped up, ushering in colder air to start the day. Expect winds out of the northwest at 15-25mph today. Temperatures will be in the middle 20s this morning with low 20s and teens as we cool throughout the day. Clouds will break for sunshine.
Overnight, we drop to near 10°. Friday, we do rebound to the upper 20s, still some 10° below average.
WEEKEND: Clouds return for Saturday as we await or next weather maker. It’s mostly cloudy with seasonal air as highs hit the upper 30s. Sunday, the next system glides in with more clouds and the chance for a wintry mix through the afternoon. Highs are in the middle 30s. The mix may change to snow overnight into Monday as colder air begins to settle back in.
NEXT WEEK: We’re back to the upper 20s by Monday, with a storm system slipping away as we move into mid-week. Highs hold in the upper 20s for Tuesday with Temps near 30° for Wednesday.
