Police looking for man who attempted to rob North York Dunkin’ Donuts

NORTH YORK (WPMT)-Northern York County Regional Police are circulating a surveillance picture of a man who they say attempted to rob a Dunkin’ Donuts in North York on Friday morning.

It happened along the 1300 block of North George Street around 7:20 a.m.

Employees told police that a man walked up to the register and demanded cash. He fled the store on foot before getting any money and was last seen running behind the restaurant.

No one was injured and  no weapon was displayed, police said.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male. He was last seen wearing a brown Carhartt style jacket, black gloves and a dark colored beanie hat.

Investigators believe the man may be involved in another attempted robbery that happened in York City around 7:30 a.m.
