Preparations underway for Great American Outdoor Show

A huge event that celebrates the traditions of millions of Americans is coming to Harrisburg.

The Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex is gearing up for the Great American Outdoor Show which kicks out Saturday morning.  Hosted by the National Rifle Association-- this year’s event is expected to bring in 200 thousand people.
The nine-day show that features the latest in hunting, fishing, and camping gear will feature more than a thousand exhibitors.

"What you’re going to find here at the Great American Outdoor show is 650 thousand square feet of the best outfitters, gear, guns, fishing equipment, archery equipment-- anything you’re going to need if you’re going to be in the outdoors. This is where you’re going to find the latest gear for the best deals you’re going to get’em," NRA Media Relations Manager Lars Dalseide said.

The Great American Outdoor Show details:
Feb. 7, 10a.m- 5 p.m
Feb. 8, 10 a.m- 7 p.m
Feb. 9-14, 9 a.m- 7 p.m
Feb. 14, and 15 10 a.m- 5p.m

Cost: $13 for adults, $10 for seniors, $6 for children 6-12 and free for those with an NRA membership.
