Today is National Wear Red Day and people all over the nation are going red to raise awareness about heart disease.

Fox43's Heather Warner joined men and women in York County as the emcee for the Go Red luncheon at the outdoor Country Club in Manchester Township. Guests were treated to a heart healthy lunch as speakers shared information on heart risks and their own experience as well as symptoms they felt when they had a heart attack.

It's all part of the American Heart Association's national movement to end heart disease and stroke in women; which one in three women die from.  Stressed at today's luncheon was the fact that 80% of cardiac events can be prevented with education and lifestyle changes.
