Alleged female accomplice charged in bank robbery

DAUPHIN COUNTY, PA (WPMT)  Police charge a second suspect in Monday’s robbery of the Metro Bank on Linglestown Road in Lower Paxton Township.   Edward Mitchell Jr., 41 was arrested on Tuesday for that robbery.  He is in Dauphin County Prison on $200,000 bail.

Susquehanna Township Police also arrested Gwen Elayne Arnett, 52, after an investigation concluded that she conspired with Mitchell to the bank.  Arnett is alleged to have driven Mitchell to and from the bank.  At the time of her arrest she was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Charges against Arnett include Criminal Conspiracy, Robbery, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug paraphernalia.  Following arraignment was sent to Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
