Police arrest suspect who robbed a Dauphin County bank Monday morning and  say the robbery may be connected to others.

According to police,Edward Mitchell Jr. 41, robbed the Metro Bank on Linglestown Road in Lower Paxton Township shortly after 10 a.m. Monday. Police said the Mitchell  handed a teller a note claiming he had a gun.

Police say no gun was displayed. The suspect then fled in a light-colored, compact four-door vehicle.

Police do believe that this robbery is related to several other robberies in the Harrisburg area within the last several days which include the robbery of a Kmart along Jonestown Road in Lower Paxton Township on the evening of February 12. police said.

Police say Mitchell was arrested on Tuesday and taken to Dauphin County Prison on a $200,000 bail.
