UPDATE: Early morning fire damages home in York County

UPDATE: Fire caused by a kerosene heater in the garage of the home.  It then spread to the living room area, causing damage to that area and the kitchen.  Damages are estimated at about $100,000.  No one was hurt.

Fire crews in Penn Township, York County battled a fire on the 100 block of Arwco Drive Saturday morning.

The fire reportedly started in the garage just before 8:30 a.m. It took firefighters close to an hour to get the fire under control.

There is no word on any injuries or what caused the fire.
