Here’s the timeline of events for Saturday’s storm system.

Expected snow totals through Sunday early morning.

A storm system is set to bring accumulating snow to the region beginning this morning. Between the hours of 9 A.M. to 12 P.M., snow overspreads the region from west to east. It continues into the early evening, varying in intensity. Roads become slippery as snow accumulates. After 8 P.M., mixing with sleet, freezing rain, and rain takes place, mainly in the southern counties. The precipitation wraps up after midnight, ending as rain in the southern counties. Total accumulations range from 4 to 8 inches, with less than this range expected in parts of our southern counties that see the most mixing.WebPhoto7
