EAST BERLIN (WPMT)-A missing Adams County man has been found safe, authorities said Wednesday.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding an elderly man who has been missing since he left his home in East Berlin for a doctor’s appointment in York on Tuesday.

Neal Zellers, 84, left his home on the 100 block of East Lynn Road on Tuesday morning, state police said. He left the VA hospital in York around 12:58 p.m. but did not make it back home.

He is driving a blue 2007 Honda Civic with Pennsylvania registration 46698PD. Zellers was last seen wearing a blue and gold jacket, Eagles sweatshirt, blue jeans and glasses.

Authorities say he suffers from early stages of dementia and may be confused about his whereabouts.
