NEW YORK, NY(WPMT)  Due to the severe winter weather, Amtrak service on the Northeast Corridor will operate on a modified schedule on Friday. While the number of frequencies has been changed, a combination of Acela Express and Northeast Regional service is still planned to operate, with most adjustments between New York City and Washington, D.C.
In addition, Keystone Service between Harrisburg, Pa., and Philadelphia/New York City will operate on a modified schedule.

Trains 600, 605, 620, 644, 647, 648 and 651 are canceled in their entirety.

Train 641 is canceled between Harrisburg and Philadelphia ONLY – it will operate from New York to Philadelphia.
The full schedule of the Downeaster Service between Brunswick, Maine, and Boston (North Station); Shuttle Service between Springfield, Mass., and New Haven Conn.; and Empire Service between New York City and Buffalo/Niagara Falls is planned.

Passengers with reservations on trains that are being modified will be contacted and accommodated on trains with similar departure times. Anyone planning to travel should check their train status prior to departing, allow extra time to get to the station and be extremely careful in stations and on platforms.

Amtrak regrets any inconvenience.  Information is subject to change as conditions warrant.
