…A Winter Weather Advisory continues through 1PM for Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Lebanon, Mifflin, and Perry Counties…
SNOWY START: We’re watching moderate to heavy snow this morning with the heaviest amounts falling along and south of the US-30 corridor. Expect the snow to continue through midday with tapering between 1-4PM from northwest to southeast. Snowfall amounts will be in the 3-6”, with a coating to 3” in the mountains. South of the US-30 corridor could see amounts above 6” in spots. Temperatures today will slowly glide downward through the 20s as cold air sinks in place. Overnight, with clearing skies and relaxing winds we will see temps drop to the single digits for lows.
FRIDAY: It’s mainly sunny and cold! We start in the single digits and end in the middle 20s for highs.
WEEKEND: Saturday, highs top out in the upper 30s with partly cloudy skies. Sunday, we’re into the middle 40s with passing clouds. Enjoy!
NEXT WEEK: Monday and Tuesday, we continue the trend of milder air with highs in the middle to upper 40s. By Wednesday, we make a run at the 50s!
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME: This coming weekend marks the start of Daylight Saving Time. We’ll turn our clocks ahead one hour before bed Saturday night. Don’t forget to check those smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm batteries too!
