Studio 117 opened their doors for business this weekend on the corner of Duke and King Streets.

It provides local musical artists and youth a chance to record music in a safe and comfortable environment.

It also give's them the chance to work with high quality equipment, that they wouldn't normally have access to.

The owners believe that this new addition to the city of York will help encourage artists in the area to create a unique sound.
