Former Cedar Cliff, Lafayette QB Tom Kirchhoff loses battle with ALS

Former Cedar Cliff and Lafayette quarterback Tom Kirchoff passed away today after a lengthy battle with ALS.

Lemoyne, Cumberland County (WPMT) — Former football quaterback Tom Kirchhoff has passed away, after a nearly 5-year battle with ALS.

Kirchhoff graduated from Cedar Cliff High School and played college football at Lafayette. He had a brief career with the Philadelphia Eagles as a player on the summer camp squad.

Kirchoff died at his home in Lemoyne, Cumberland County.

A memorial service will take place Saturday.
