ELIZABETHTOWN (WPMT)-Police have released the name of an Elizabethtown teenager who died after he was struck by a vehicle on Monday afternoon.
David Weiser, 13, of Elizabethtown, was killed while he was walking along the 500 block of East High Street around 2:55 p.m. Weiser was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lancaster County Coroner’s office.
Police checked cell phone records for the 37-year-old Elizabethtown woman who struck Weiser. Investigators said the woman was not using her phone or texting at the time of the accident.
So far, no charges have been filed against the driver.
The crash remains under investigation by the Elizabethtown Police Department with assistance of the Northwest Crash Team and the Lancaster County District Attorney’s office .
