Man who stole $200,000 from Harrisburg Boys and Girls Club sentenced

HARRISBURG, PA (WPMT) Thierry Malley, 62, of Etters was sentenced in Dauphin County Court to 11 and a half to 23 months in prison for stealing $200,000 from the Boys and Girls Club of Harrisburg.  Malley took the money while he  worked as a financial consultant for the club.

He had pleaded guilty to Theft by Deception, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Theft by Failure to Make Disposition of Funds Received.  Malley told Judge Richard Lewis that he had made full restitution to the organization and said he needed the money because of his wife’s health problems.

Judge Lewis also ordered Malley to serve three additional years of probation and complete 200 hours of community service.
