LANCASTER, PA (WPMT)  A foot chase ends with the arrest of a 17 year old Lancaster City juvenile for possession of a stolen handgun. The incident began at about 3:30 pm when city police responded to a report of a fight involving teenage boys near McDonald’s on the 500 block of North Franklin Street.

As that was happening a 15 year old female juvenile ran up and struck and pushed one of the officers in an attempt to separate him from the juvenile male. Her actions caused a crowd to gather around the Officers. Both juvenile suspects were taken into custody as other police arrived.

Charges against the  the 17 year old include Firearms Not To Be Carried Without a License, Possession of a Firearm by Minor and Receiving Stolen Property.  The gun, a Bersa .380 semi automatic handgun had been reported stolen to the New York Police Department in 2008.
