UPDATE: Missing Dallastown toddler has been found safe

York Regional Police have recovered Maria Cataldo who was reported missing Friday night.

According to police, Cataldo’s mother reported her missing 2-year-old around 5:50 p.m. Friday. She told police she was last seen with Jasmine Myers, 27 who lives on the 400 block of East Main Street in Dallastown. Myers had been babysitting Maria.

Maria was found inside a vehicle driven by Myers that was pulled over by a York Regional police officer around 8:15 a.m. Saturday inside the Windsor Commons shopping Center in Windsor Township.

Maria was recovered without incident, and police say she did not appear to be injured but was taken to the hospital as a precautionary.

Myers was arrest for suspicion of DUI. Additional charges may be filed upon further investigation.
