Most of us probably know the classic “Seinfeld line,” “No soup for you!”
But in Harrisburg, people had plenty of it.
Folks headed to Appalachian Brewing Company on Cameron Street for the Central P.A. Soup Cookoff!
Local pro and amateur chefs dished up 61 different types of hot soup and the samples were all free!
Today’s tasty event also included some live music and a basket raffle.
Organizers say it’s a fun way to support local restaurants and rasie money for a good cause, all at the same time!
All of the proceeds from this year’s cookoff will benefit the Scleroderma Foundation.
