Spring Grove Rocket Science students have been chosen, once again, to be a part of the NASA student launch initiative. They're the only school from Pennsylvania participating. This weekend they traveled to Maryland for one last scale launch before the competition in Alabama. They'll compete for scores to advance to Nationals. The full-scale rocket will travel to a height of a mile and will be 24 pounds and 11 feet long.
100 teams are invited to Nationals every year. The top 20 teams in the nation are invited again next year to participate in NASA's program.
