LANCASTER COUNTY, PA (WPMT) Only minor injuries in a crash involving a pickup and a school bus in West Lampeter Township. It happened at about 4 pm at the intersection of Hollinger Road and Millwood Road north of Willow Street.
Police say the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup was at the stop sign on Hollinger Road. Something began to spill inside the truck and when the driver reached to grab for it his foot came off the brake. The truck then drifted into the intersection striking the westbound bus. 26 Lampeter-Strasburg elementary school students and the driver were on board. Four of the students were transported to the hospital.
Another school bus and parents picked up the remainder of students. The driver is expected to be cited for a stop sign violation.
