MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA (WPMT) Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman issued a statement in reaction to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision upholding the appointment of a Special Prosecutor to investigate Attorney General Kathleen Kane.
Ferman says she will review the case in a manner that committed to “fairness, integrity and justice”. A statewide grand jury has recommended charges against Kane for lying about leaking information about the grand jury to newspapers.

Kane’s attorney Lanny Davis said following the supreme court decision that he has faith in the judicial system and that Attorney General Kane will found innocent of any violations of the law.
