Parole violator arrested on gun and drug charges

LANCASTER, PA(WPMT)  Gun and drug charges added to list of charges against a York County parole violator.   46 year old Larry Rowe, sr., of Lancaster, was found by State Parole/Probation officers and members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, at about 8 o’clock Thursday morning sleeping in a bed in a city apartment. He was wanted on an outstanding state parole violation for a burglary charge.

Lancaster City Police Selective Enforcement Unit officers assisted and secured a search warrant for the residence.

Gun Evidence

During the search officers located a stolen Sig Sauer .380 handgun with a loaded magazine and one round in the chamber. The gun was stolen from Manheim Township. Officers also located a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a small quantity of prescription medication. They also seized $1,520.00 in cash.

Rowe is charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Persons not to Possess, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,  plus 2 counts of Possession of Controlled Substances (Oxycontin, Diazepam)

Rowe was transported to the York County Prison by PA State Parole Agents.
