Ephrata Police said a woman crashed her min-van into her neighbor’s front porch when she lost her footing on the brake pedal and hit the gas.

It happened Saturday along the 100 block of Church Avenue at 10:50 p.m. Police said Amber Lewis was the driver.

The mini-van took out a cinder block based porch roof post, a small brick retaining wall and a fence police said.

Lewis was not hurt. The front porch of the home was heavily damaged but is not in danger of collapsing
