Juvenile on bicycle hit by car in Lancaster City.

LANCASTER, PA (WPMT) A juvenile male is hospitalized after he is hit by a car while riding his bicycle. It happened just after 4 pm at the intersection of N. Franklin and East Walnut streets in Lancaster.


Witnesses say the juvenile rode through a red light on N. Franklin into the path of a westbound car which had the green light, on E. Walnut Street. The victim was thrown onto the windshield of the car by the impact.  The juvenile’s injuries are considered non-life threatening. The driver was not injured.

Police say their investigation continues.
