It’s another cool, misty evening with temperatures holding in the low 40s. There may be a few passing showers but a better chance will arrive overnight. Lows will drop to the low 40s.
There could be some morning showers, otherwise, cloudy with the breeze picking up out of the southeast. Eventually, it will shift more to the south 10-20 mph, which will help to quickly warm temperatures to the upper 60s to low 70s. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible with the passage of a cold front in the afternoon. Parts of the area are under a marginal to slight risk for severe weather.
The more sunshine we can get to poke through the clouds, the better the threat for seeing strong storms. Winds would be the main threat. Temperatures will fall to the low to mid 40s under clearing skies Friday night into Saturday morning.
High pressure builds in for the weekend bringing sunshine and dry conditions. It will be breezy and in the upper 50s to low 60s for the start of the weekend but by Sunday, we’ll see more sunshine, calmer winds and warmer temps in the low to mid 60s. Heading into to the workweek, temperatures will warm up. Best threat for showers will likely be Monday night into early Tuesday, then again Thursday evening. So a couple of dry days expected midweek with highs in the upper 60s to near 70.
