HARRISBURG, PA (WPMT)  Fugitive Shawn McCoy wanted in an early morning robbery and shooting at Harrisburg City Police, has surrendered. McCoy was arrested by Chief Thomas Carter at about 7:30 pm this evening on the 1200 block of Market Street without incident.

Chief Carter handcuffed McCoy and personally took him into custody.  City police officials gave a special thanks to the US Marshal Service, Dauphin County Probation, Dauphin County Sheriffs, and the FBI Task Force in effecting the arrest of McCoy.

Police had previously arrested in Sharyne Cook, 24 and Yusef Chandler-Blake, 25, in connection with the early morning robbery and shooting.
