FRIDAY WARMTH: After a few days of damp, dreary weather, flow shifts from the east to the south and we scour out cool, moist air. In return, we get a warmer, breezy day. Highs today make a run at 70° despite mostly cloudy skies and a cool, misty start.
A cold front approaches in the evening, so the warm up will be short lived. The front also brings with it some showers and a few thunderstorms. Best time for storms is 12-5PM. It tapers this evening with a break in clouds as temperatures fall to the 50s for evening plans.
WEEKEND: Cooler air settles in for Saturday, but we level out near seasonal averages. Highs are near 60° with a northwest breeze. Sunday, we start in the middle 30s with a finish in the middle 60s. It’s mostly sunny and less breezy.
NEXT WEEK: We warm into Monday with highs in the upper 60s. It turns mostly cloudy with the chance for a few showers late. Showers linger overnight and taper on Tuesday morning. Highs Tuesday are in the middle 60s as sun returns for afternoon plans. Wednesday into Thursday, we hold in the upper 60s to low 70s with a mix of sun and clouds.
Have a fantastic Friday and a superb weekend!
