CARLISLE, PA (WPMT) A Cumberland County man is charged with theft after he is identified through social media.   Douglas Baker, Jr., 23, of Newville, is accused of stealing a large amount of cash from the Carlisle Diner.  It happened at about 3:10 Sunday morning.

A still image of the suspect from a surveillance camera was posted on social media. Baker was then identified by a number of people.

During interviewed with Carlisle Borough Police, Baker described his clothing which matched that of the suspect in the surveillance photo. He also said that he was under the influence of a substantial amount of narcotics.

Baker was then arrested and taken to Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment on theft charges.
