LEBANON, PA (WPMT) A Lebanon School District teacher faces multiple charges involving the sexual assault of a 17 year old female student. An arrest warrant was issued this morning for 30 year old Jonathan Ruppert. Pennsylvania State Police arrested Ruppert at about 3:30 pm Friday afternoon at his home in Hamburg, Berks County.
Ruppert’s arrest stems from an investigation of an incident that happened last week, Wednesday, April 8 at 7:40 am in a classroom at Lebanon High School. The investigation was conducted by Lebanon City Police and the Lebanon County District Attorney’ Office with the cooperation of the Lebanon School District.
Charges against Ruppert include Institutional Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault, Corruption of Minors and Unlawful Contact with a Minor. State Troopers returned Lebanon County for arraignment at the prison.
