Police investigate two overnight shootings in Carlisle

Police are investigating two overnight shootings that sent two people to the hospital.

The first shooting happened in the area of N. Pitt Street and W. locust Ave. around 2:00AM Sunday.  Police say a 28-year-old man was shot by an unknown suspect.

The victims injuries do not appear to be life threatening, police say and they are attempting to identify and locate a suspect.

The second shooting happened along the 300 block of N. Hanover Street around 4:30AM.

Police say a 28-year-old woman was shot by an unknown suspect and her injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

Police are also attempting to locate and identify a suspect in this shooting.

At this time it is  unknown whether the two shooting are related and police  ask anyone with any information  to contact Carlisle police at 717-243-5252.
