UPDATE: Missing Ephrata man found safe

Police say Mr. Weaver has been found safe and is home with his family.

Police are looking for a missing elderly man who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.

According to police 85-year-old Lamar “Henner” Weaver was last seen leaving his Ephrata Township home driving a tan 2003 Lincoln  Town Car with a PA registration of FDC2516.

Police say Weaver does not usually drive. He is being described as bald, with brown eyes, about 5’8″ tall, weighs around 140 pounds and has a frail build. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue plaid pajama pants.

Police said if you see Weaver he may not realize that he is lost and is wearing a Medical Alert Bracelet containing his name, address, and phone number.
