CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA (WPMT) A pole fire leaves about 1500 PPL customers in the dark in Cumberland County. The pole, along the 1000 block of Park Place in Monroe Township, caught fire at 2:51 pm this afternoon. The outage also affected traffic signals in the surrounding area.
A PPL repair crew is on the scene and power is expected to be restored at approximately 6:00 pm.
