Police investigate suspicious activity in Lebanon involving 10-year-old

Police are investigating suspicious activity where two men may have tried to lure a 10 -year-old girl into their car.

Police spoke with the girl from Lebanon and her mother about the incident that occurred in the area of Walton St & Old Cumberland Street on Tuesday around 6:00p.m.

The girl stated that she was walking in the area of when she observed a vehicle that she described as a red car with a black front bumper police said.

The girl described the driver of the car as a white male in his 40’s and the front seat passenger as a bald black male in his 30’s police said.

The girl told police that it looked like the passenger waved her over to the car, but she ignored them and continued to walk away.

There were no words exchanged and no other actions by the driver or passenger police said.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the incident, or has knowledge of the above described vehicle is asked to contact the Lebanon City Police Department at 717-272-6611.
