“It’s almost impossible not to do well here,” says Gettysburg Men’s Lacrosse Coach Hank Janczyk.    Last week, the humble Bullets leader reached a win total preceded by only one other person.    Gettysburg’s 10-8 victory over Franklin & Marshall was Janczyk’s 400th career victory.

Now in his 28th year at the helm in Gettysburg, Jancyzk shrugs off the big number.   He’s more focused on this year’s team and their undefeated season.   His players appreciate his priorities but are honored to be part of the milestone.

"It's such a special moment to be part of," remarked Gettysburg Senior Midfielder Bijan Firouzan.   "Especially because we didn't know about it.  It was a hard fought win.   Just to be part of that, part of 400 wins.  I love him and it was an honor, really meant a lot."

The Bullets are currently ranked #2 in the nation and host the Centennial Conference Championship game this Saturday.   They set a conference playoff record with 23 goals in their semifinal win over Washington College.
