YORK, Pa. -- Civil rights attorney Devon Jacob spoke to FOX43's Evan Forrester in the studio, Friday, to discuss the charges filed in the Freddie Gray case -- dismissing calls by the Fraternal Order of Police for the city's prosecutor to step aside.
The FOP says Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby has a conflict of interest in the case because she has a connection to the Gray family's attorney and because her husband is a city councilman.
The FOP has called for the appointment of a Special Independent Prosecutor to handle the case.
"She's a respected member of the community. There's a lot of people who know her. There's a lot of people who've contributed to her campaign," said Jacob.
