2 people shot after a fight breaks out in York City

YORK, Pa. -- York City Police say two people were wounded after a fight broke out at a party and someone pulled a gun out firing shots.

The shooting happened Saturday just before 10:30 p.m. along the 200 block of W. Market Street. Police say a party was being held at 284 W. Market Street when a fight broke out inside.

The fight moved outside before someone pulled out a handgun and fired  several shots. Two people were struck, one a juvenile male was hit in the leg, the other victim,  an adult from Baltimore, was shot in the eye police said.

Both victims were transported to York Hospital, their injuries are non life threatening.
