LANCASTER - Clergy in Lancaster gathered at Binns Park to offer prayer and thanks to first responders in response to the recent unrest in Baltimore. A number of religious leaders and community members joined local law enforcement for the prayer summit.

Those in attendance say this is the least they can do to show their appreciation for first responders. Pastor Wayne Scott of the Lancaster County Council of Churches says "We recognize that they hardly get enough credit for the good job that they're doing."

The council plans to host more prayer summits in Lancaster in the future.
