Two fires in Hanover have both been ruled arson

HANOVER, Pa. — Two fires that were set within two days of each other have been deemed arson by Hanover Police.

Police say the first fire happened in the first block of West Hanover Street shortly after 6:00 AM on Tuesday. A detached garage and two vehicles were damaged.

The second fire happened Thursday morning shortly after 5:00 a.m  along the 100 block of East Hanover Street. A detached garage was also damaged in this fire.

No injuries were reported in either fire, estimated damage for both fires have yet to be determined.

According to police, these fires come after another arson fire that was set just over a week ago on April 28th in the 100 block of Centennial Avenue where the side of a business was damaged.
