Interstate 83 southbound lanes reopen in York County after vehicle catches fire

FAIRVIEW, Pa. — UPDATE (12:46a.m.) — Crews have cleaned the scene and the lanes are now reopen.

Previously:
Crews are on the scene of a vehicle fire along Interstate 83 in York County.

We’re told a minivan or SUV caught fire on the Reesers Summit exit ramp, near mile marker 38.
It happened around 11:15p.m. Tuesday night.

No other vehicles were involved. Officials have closed down the southbound lanes of Interstate 83 in the area. No injuries have been reported.
