LANCASTER, Pa. - A Lancaster County tradition will take place tomorrow at Long's Park. The 62nd annual Sertoma Chicken BBQ kicks off at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning. It's known as the World's largest one-day chicken barbecue.

For eight hours tomorrow, volunteers will serve up more than 26,000 meals. The first 1,500 meals at the event will go to charity. Last year, about 20,000 people came out to the event.

Today volunteers started setting up for the event, preparing tables and cleaning grills that will be used to cook thousands of chickens. Meals this year are larger than last year and will include a half a chicken, a roll, a banana, applesauce, Twizzlers and chips.

Proceeds from the event go to several different causes, but most of the money goes toward maintenance at Long's Park.

The barbecue runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow and tickets for the event are still available. They're $8 each if you purchase them in advance and $10 at the park tomorrow.
