2nd overnight shooting in Harrisburg leaves 1 victim injured

Harrisburg police are investigating a 2nd shooting that happened just after 2 a.m.  Sunday along the 200 block of 2nd Street.

According to police, they were in the area of N. 2nd Street and South Streets when they were approached by a  25-year-old male victim bleeding from his face and neck.

The victim was  transported to Hershey Hospital and taken into immediate surgery. Police say he is expected to recover.

Upon investigation police say that a group of people were in the area when 4-5 shots were fired. At this time police do not know if the victim was targeted or stuck randomly.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for up to $2,000 for any information leading to an arrest.
