Week starts warm and stormy
UNSETTLED START TO WEEK: The weather pattern remains unchanged as of Sunday, and there’s little difference as the new work week begins. An approaching cold front keeps shower and thunderstorm chances alive. In the mean time, tonight skies are expected to dry out and partially clear. It’s still muggy and warm, with hazy and foggy areas forming late. Overnight lows are warm in the lower to middle 60s. As the cold front edges closer Monday, expect the threat for showers and thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon. The front is slow, so shower and thunderstorm chances linger through the first half of Tuesday. Then, the breezes kick up and the humidity lowers during the afternoon. Highs are in the lower to middle 80s Monday, and near 80 degrees on Tuesday.
COOLING AGAIN: The spring see-saw of temperatures continues with another cool down for the middle of next week. On Wednesday cooler and partly sunny skies are expected, with highs falling into the 60s. Expect breezy winds as well. Thursday is a seasonable day with a mixture of clouds and some sunshine. High temperatures are near 70 degrees.
SEASONABLE STRETCH: Conditions remain seasonable and quiet leading into next weekend. Expect a mixture of clouds and sunshine Friday, with more by way of sunshine for Saturday. Temperatures are in the lower to middle 70s through this timeframe. Temperatures near the 80 degree mark Sunday, with clouds building through the day.
Have a great week!
