Clouds will be increasing overnight as the next disturbance approaches. Lows will drop to the upper 40s to near 50. Winds die down and remain on the light side towards morning. There could be a few showers move in towards morning, especially across the Maryland border.

More clouds and threat for showers keeps it cool

With lots of clouds around, it will be a gray day. The threat for a few showers will be more likely for southern counties and areas south of Harrisburg. Not a lot of rain expected but more will fall further south than north. Highs will be held in the 50s where there is rainfall; drier spots further north could warm into the low 60s.

Skies brighten back up for Friday despite a cold front crossing through in the afternoon. It will produce some clouds but moisture is limited therefore shower threat is minimal. Mostly to partly sunny skies expected with highs warming to the low 70s. The breeze will pick up during the day too. High pressure builds in for Saturday bringing a nice start to the holiday weekend. Highs will be cooler near 70 but a quick warm up as we head into the second half of the weekend. Mostly sunny for Sunday and we’ll start to feel the humidity more as the winds shift more to the south-southwest.

Memorial Day will be even warmer in the low 80s and more humid, which may result in a few afternoon thunderstorms. Mid 80s and more humid conditions along with an approaching front will bring a better threat for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday.
