Arts, crafts and food fill the streets of Harrisburg this Memorial Day weekend. Thousands of people travel into the city to enjoy the 48th Annual Artsfest in Riverfront Park along S. Front Street.
The popular event is hosted by Jump-Street, a group dedicated to arts in Central Pennsylvania.
More than 250 artists are lining the street,  selling paintings, pottery, jewelry and more.
Folks can also listen to live music and enjoy some good food while they shop. Vendors say the city is the perfect place for an event like this.
"On a Memorial Day weekend, when you have great weather like we've had, you couldn't find a better place in Pennsylvania for an arts festival this weekend. Once you've got your hot dogs and baked beans and hamburgers at home, come down here and be enriched, enjoy the scenery and find something you might want to hang on your wall," says
Artsfest will continue through Monday. Admission is free.
