An investigation is underway after a police officer is shot and killed in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Investigators say a housing authority officer was found dead inside his squad car in Central City, Sunday morning.
Officials say the vehicle was still in drive– with the cruiser lights on and driver’s side window broken.
The officer had only been with the department for two years.
No arrests have been made.
