OVERNIGHT
High pressure off the East Coast will continue to provide a quiet evening. Expect a few clouds and calm southwest winds, leading to a mild and dry night. Temperatures will drop into the upper 50s and low 60s.
VERY WARM AND SUNNY MEMORIAL DAY
It will begin to feel more like Summer as warm temperatures are expected to continue into the lower 80s by early afternoon on Memorial Day. High pressure will provide only a few clouds throughout the day, however, warm southerly winds will pick up, breezy, with gusts 20-25 mph.
OUTLOOK
The heat and humidity build and linger. With temperatures pushing the upper 80s (to near 90) and a storm system sliding across the Midwest and Mississippi River Valley, an unsettled weather pattern begins to take shape Tuesday evening and Wednesday increasing our chance for showers and thunderstorms. Warm and humid is the story for Thursday with temperatures still lingering in the mid 80s and the chance for a few scattered showers and storms. Toward the end of the week, expect another round of unsettled weather and temperatures still in the 80s.
