MEMORIAL DAY
The unofficial start of summer will certainly feel like it. Highs today make a jump to the middle 80s with warmth and a slight uptick in humidity. It’s mostly sunny and should stay dry as high pressure maintains the squeeze on us. All memorial services and outdoor plans look fine today. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
SHORT WEEK
We hold onto the warm air for mid-week. Highs top out in the middle 80s with plenty of humidity through late week. Skies are partly to mostly cloudy each day. We’re seeing a small chance for afternoon/evening storms Tuesday. Storm chances are better Wednesday into Thursday as a front nears, mainly in the afternoon. Friday, there’s a chance for a stray shower.
WEEKEND
The warmth stays in play for Saturday with highs in the middle 80s. A cold front set up shop which will bring us a better chance for showers and thunderstorms later in the day. By Sunday, we may see a few leftover showers as the front hangs up. Highs will drop closer to 80° as some slightly cooler and drier air tries to slip into the region.
