LONDONDERRY TWP., Pa. – A Dauphin County man is killed in an accident at his home in Londonderry Township. It happened at about 2:20 pm Thursday afternoon at the Schoolhouse Road home of 69 year old David E. Cunningham.
State Police say that Cunningham was operating a backhoe on his property when he lost control. The backhoe slide down an embankment and overturned pinning Cunningham. The Middletown Fire Department and the South Central EMS responded to the scene.
The Dauphin County Coroner pronounced Cunningham dead at the scene.
Cunningham’s death was ruled accidental.
