Crews battle 3-alarm fire in Lancaster City

LANCASTER, Pa.–Firefighters are battling a 3-alarm blaze at a three-story apartment building in Lancaster City. Flames broke out shortly before 9 a.m. along the 100 block of East Lemon Street on Friday.

Heavy smoke and flames could be seen pouring from the roof of the home. The fire is believed to have started on the third-floor. No injuries were reported.

So far, no word on what caused the fire.

A state police fire marshal is investigating.
