NEW YORK — Dirk Vanzuuk owns this 1969 Chevy Camaro Z/28 with a Mad Max themed body and decorations (love the skull!)

He came down with cancer right before he was going to take his car to the track all spring and summer, according to Road and Track author Roger Garbow.

Dirk did not make it to the New York premiere of Mad Max, which he had tickets for, but he will attend opening weekend.

He has owned his Camaro for about 10 years, and the paint job is around 20 years old.

The car makes around 500 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque, has a high-rise intake, headers, aluminum radiator, electric fan, and a lot of other goodies.

He shows us all to live life how you please, he chose Mad Max style!
